Happy 36th Anniversary Mom and Dad!

Happiest 36th Anniversary to my parents, who actually continue to get stopped in public and have complete strangers tell them how cute they are, even in NYC. They are an absolute example of what a successful marriage is and should be. I have mad respect for them and am thankful for their strength, support, respect, love, and friendship they have shared for so many years.

Here is their wedding invitation from 1976. My dad did the calligraphy, which I think is pretty impressive! With numerous "sky is the limit" options for invitations we have now, I find the simplicity so beautiful. Cheers, mom and dad!

Cover Art for Clayton Knight Album

Last summer I had a booth at the Woodstock Farmer's Market where I was selling my block printed cards. I met bluegrass musician, Clayton Knight, while he was performing at the market. He loved the look and feel of block prints, and asked me to create a custom print for his upcoming album, "Runs Real Good." He just sent me his completed CD, and I love how it came together! I thought it was neat that the graphic designer took elements of my block print and laid it over the inside photograph, which created a nice rustic, mixed media vibe.

Invitations for Captain Morgan Rum Release Party

I had the awesome opportunity to create invitations for Captain Morgan! Yep, the Captain! They needed unique and creative invitations for their rum release party that fit the "dark pirate" theme.

The original idea was to have the invitations rolled up and sealed with wax, however the seal kept popping off, even when bound by super glue! :-( We ended up folding them instead, and the result was really fun!

Luxe Bridal Event Recap

We had so much fun and met some fabulous brides-to-be at the Luxe Bridal Event last week! I always love the energy and atmosphere of Luxe Event Production's shows. Marry Me! Event Recap

I almost let a month go by without sharing photos from the Marry Me! Event at the Vancouver Hilton. It was so much fun to be a part of, and I enjoyed meeting hundreds of delightful brides-to-be!

Luxe Event Productions produced this show, and WOW is all I have to say about their events! Marry Me had an absolutely amazing wedding cake showcase, along with tablescapes inspired by different themes, and even an interactive design center for engaged couples to play with linens and colors. This event was all about getting INSPIRED!

I cannot wait for the upcoming LUXE Bridal Event. Definitely put it on your calendar~ you won't want to miss the "Gown Lounge," featuring the latest gown designs from local boutiques.
